Shipping Information

Welcome to Clare Riley Home! Our shipping policy is designed to provide you with a clear understanding of how we process and deliver your orders.

At Clare Riley Home, we carefully select each of the brands and manufacturers that we carry. While we stock some of our most popular items, many items are "made to order" and will be shipped to you directly from our suppliers. This approach saves time, money, resources and has a lower impact on the environment, as items are not being shipped twice.

Order Processing:

  • Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation.
  • If your order includes multiple products from multiple manufacturers, you may receive separate shipments. 
  • Please be aware that standard delivery only includes drop-off at your doorstep. This means the delivery driver will not bring the item inside your home or assemble it. For residents of buildings, the delivery will be made to the lobby.
  • White Glove service, which includes interior placement and assembly, is only available for select items. Some items added to quote can qualify for White Glove service, please contact us to learn more.

Shipping Fees:

Items to Cart

  • We offer a flat shipping rate for carts under $200.00 per Province and free shipping for purchases over $200.00.  Large furniture & lighting options are not included in this rate as duties and additional fees are determined by quote.

Items to Quote

  • Most furniture items and certain lighting fixtures are potentially; not in stock, are made to order, imported from out of country and are therefore not eligible for our cart feature and must be "added to quote"
  • The add to quote feature allows our team to check the stock availability, the estimated arrival date, potential white glove service available and additional shipping and handling fees that would also be applied.
  • Please note that expected shipping fees for large furniture and lighting items typically range anywhere between $200 to $400+.  You will receive a final quote with shipping fee included prior to your purchase.

Shipping Duration:

  • Standard shipping takes approximately 7 - 10 business days if item is in stock.
  • We will ship backordered items as soon as they are back in stock. In the event of a delay, we will notify you by email or phone.

Address Accuracy:

  • Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate and complete during checkout. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.
  • PO Box addresses are not acceptable for delivery.

Shipping Delays:

  • While we make every effort to deliver your orders promptly, please understand that unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or carrier delays may occasionally impact shipping times.
All items have specific manufacturer lead times that can range anywhere from 1-16 weeks, although some special order items may take longer.
Because these lead times change on a regular basis, please contact us for specific lead times. Lead times are estimates only. Manufacturers may indicate longer than stated lead times after orders are placed, subject to demand and availability. Delivery dates are good faith estimates only and are quoted in "business days"; this does not include weekends and statutory holidays.
Quick shipping is available upon special request for some in-stock items. This option may involve additional costs, therefore we ask that you contact us for more information to see if your particular request is possible and to determine what additional costs may be associated.
